For your daily groceries you can go to Olonzac, near Pouzols (about 5Km.) You can shop, here is a supermarket, butcher, fishmonger and several bakeries. Also visit the hairdresser is possible. On the terrace of Cafe La Poste is a good place (see photo). There is also a tennis court in the park. You will also find several good restaurants around Pouzols, and Cabezac Olonzac. The Canal du Midi is located in the immediate area; boats for trips on the Canal du Midi can be rented in such Homps. The recreational lake to Lac de Jouarres Homps is an ideal place for windsurfing, sailing, fishing and swimming. Pouzols has an amazing wine cave Cave des Producteurs. This is a great topcave with around 415 hectares. Vineyards and here are also produced top crowned with entries in the Guide Hachette and Competitions D\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Agricole Régional Languedocienne. Here, among others, for those who love sweet white and red wines. The white AOC (Florilège Blanc) is one of the few white from the Languedoc AOCs and does extremely well on all occasions. Also worth mentioning is the cuvée Canal du Midi, with a beautiful red label on the Canal du Midi. Not to mention the D Carthagene Occitane, a volbondige red sweet liqueur. But not too much about all those goodies told the principal we find that the first wines to be tasted. So they know what\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s in the glass.
