With four bedrooms and three bathrooms (one ensuite), this house easily sleeps six - eight persons, ideal for a large family or two smaller families. Three of the bedrooms have double beds and the fourth has two single beds. There is also a sofa couch in the living room.
Interior: The open plan kitchen is well kitted out with a dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, electric oven and gas stove. There are plenty of glasses, dishware and cookware. There is a bar fridge in the kitchen and an addional fridge/freezer in the garage at the front of the house.
The lounge has a flatscreen TV with satellite and an mp3 dock. The lounge opens up onto an outdoor terrace with a summer kitchen; gas barbecue, large outdoor table, umbrella and lighting.
All of the bedrooms are upstairs. All have hanging space and drawer space. Two of the rooms have doors onto a terrace with views to the Corbières and Pyranees. There are two bathrooms upstairs (showers) and one downstairs (shower/bath).
The garage has a washing machine.
Outdoors: The outdoor kitchen leads to large paved area with sunloungers. The pool is 9 by 4 metres and the rest of the large garden is grassed. There is a back gate with road access to the village and walking and cycle trails.
Suitability: six to eight persons. Pets are allowed after consultation with Kuypers Verhuur. For larger groups, you can combine with the adjacent villa Villa Le Petit Soleil.
There is always something to do, whether it be bike riding through the vineyards, to lake Jouarres for a swim or along the Canal du Midi, lazing around the pool or playing soccer in the garden. Going for a day trip to the beach or into the mountains, to the historic city of Minerve, or to Beziers or Narbonne for shopping. Siran is a quiet little village with a local pub with internet access, a corner store and, of course a boulangerie. Fruit and vegetable and butcher vans pass through on a weekly schedule and Thursday night is pizza van night.
