In the village of Saint Couat d'Aude you can play tennis, petanque and go fishing or canoe in the river Aude.
Location: In de picturesque wine region of Minervois, close to Puichéric and Lézignan, with broad views over the valley to the Pyrenees on the horizon.
At 2.5 kilometres from the village St. Couat in Puicheric you will find necessary shops and in Lezignan (10 km) there are several large supermarkets.
Carcassonne is famous for the medieval Cité and Narbonne is also very worthwhile.
Would you plan visits sites from the time of the Cathars, there are plenty of options, such as Minerve village (19 km).
The distance to the Mediterranean Sea is about 40 km. Only a few kilometres away from St. Couat, there’s the famous Canal du Midi.
The distances to Perpignan, Barcelona and Andorra are resp. 95, 290 and 250 km.
