The name of La Maison du Confluent indicates the location of the house. It is located on the south side of the ancient Cathar Minerve Village, where the flow of the rivers Cesse and Brian come together. There is a breathtaking panoramic view of the canyons and the surrounding vineyards of the high plateau. A German artist has restored the house from outside while maintaining the soul and charm of the more than 500 years old house and was fitted with modern comforts. The living area of 270m2 is on two levels. You will find two kitchens, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a large great room that serves as a studio with library. In the area that is sheltered by walls, is a privat swimming pool (4 x 8m) and Spa (Jacuzzi), pizza oven.

The house is furnished with fine antiques, has stone walls with natural stone tiling.
Level 1 (ground floor)
In the kitchen you will find gas stove with electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, a dining table for eight people and a fireplace.
There are two bedrooms, one bedroom with double bed (180 x 200cm) and a single room with single bed (90x200cm), coil mattress. The bathroom has a bath, double sinks, a bidet and toilet.
Level 2: (garden level)
Here is also a kitchen, with a gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and a dining table for eight people. From here you have access to the garden.
A bedroom with double bed (180x200cm) and a bathroom with shower, double sink, bidet and toilet.
The garden takes you to the separate guest house (accessible through the studio) with double bed (140x200cm) and private bathroom (shower, sink and toilet).
Large utility room with washer, dryer, garden furniture. From here you have access to the terraces.
Suitability: La Maison du Confluent is suitable for eight people. The two levels is particularly suited for a group holiday or a holiday with two families. |
| The deposit amounts € 400,00, costs for final cleaning € 125,00 (02-01-2010) aren’t included in the rental charge. The deposit will be returned within four weeks after departure subject to the costs for cleaning, electricity, phone, tourist taxes and breakage, if necessary (look after the booking conditions). |
